Special topics and developments in lodging, food services, and other hospitality industries. Prereq: junior standing. Course may be repeated when topics change up to a maximum of 8 credits.
Section Comments: Week 1 (December 27-29, 2018): online webinar class. Weeks 2-4 will take place in the Wentworth by the Sea Marriott Resort. Students will live at the hotel with complimentary accommodations for for 3 nights per week. Class days will be Tuesday through Thursday. Students will learn the Sales process for a successful hotel, including role playing, how to build and execute a property marketing plan in the digital world, as well as pricing, market share and the integration of these three demand generation disciplines.
Repeat Rule: May be repeated for a maximum of 8 credits.
