There is no required hardcopy text for this course. We will use open access online resources -- OpenStax Chemistry, and Khan Academy -- as our primary references. A hardcopy text CAN be very helpful as an additional reference and source of practice problems. I highly recommend "Chemistry: a molecular approach," by Nivaldo Tro (Pearson -- most recent edition is the 4th). Older editions of either text would be fine, and are available much more inexpensively than the most recent edition.
